Edited: simply moved some points from the AI to the special, since it's basically the same thing anyways, right? :P

I didn't really expect the missiles to follow the target, just fire out of my Alchemech in a grand firework display, before flying towards the target. Sorry for the confusion. I'm well aware I am gimping my damage by giving such a huge spread, but at least I get style points, right?

I'm glad you approve of the name scheme. The true reason for the choice in names will be evident from RP. Which reminds me, I still need a backstory.

While I think of it, would you mind going into the mechanical details of the Armor skill for Alchemists? The original plan had been to make sure that all party members had a solid enough defense to keep them up and running, but I don't know if a 50 Armor Skill is enough to provide a decent enduring buff on 62 units.

Alchemy is sometimes more art than science. Alreona generally come out of the flask fully grown- after all, they wouldn't be a very useful resource if it took ~18 years to fully utilize them. Once that is done they usually don't typically "age" as humans do, though they feel the effects of time. For example an Alreaona with the appearance of a child would still look like a child after 80 years, but they might have developed arthritis and alzheimers as an old man would, and their life span is slightly shorter than a humans (in that most Alreaona/Officer pairs die of aging relatively around the same time, if they both make it out alive.) Again having said that, there are plenty of examples of this not being the case. Its possible for an Old Man to emerge from the flask and age "backwards", growing younger in appearance as time goes on, or for an Alreona to age forward for some years then backwards in others, or in the scenario you described to emerge from the flask a baby and age normally as a human would. If anything it is the most likely of the bunch, a failure in the growth stage (or even intentionally ignoring it at someone's request) would plausibly lead to the scenario you want.

TLDR: Yes, Alreona can grow like a normal being.

As for the "failed" Alreona/Purified squad, its an acceptable Additional as you have it (after all, such beings could be equal to or even inferior to normal humans in combat situations). From what you have now, its a small fairly skilled group with an incredibly powerful Alreona, and it looks perfectly acceptable.
Perfect ! I would be fine with it even if they were weaker than the average humans :D

Edit: Elvish Miner, I like your naming theme !

Edit2: I really liked what you said about the failure in the growth stage, it's very fitting with the backstory I had in mind. As such, I changed the backstory a bit : Sophia Lapis creation was a "failure", she came out of the vat as an infant, aging like normal humans.

As it stands, they would be slightly stronger, due to the point investment in their Special.

Tattooed warriors? Sounds rather familiar to me.

Either way, I'm in.

Really? I guess its kinda a common thing :-/.

Mostly, I didn't want you to get disappointing after you unleash your barrage dramatically and fail to kill anything :P.

Un, sure. Alchemical Armor is generally 1/2 as effective as Mech armor of the same rating. It takes a turn to cast, and lasts multiple turns based on your Duration skill. Generally, it can protect one target nearly guaranteed, with a roll for effecting more targets at once with penalties based on the number of targets. Failure means you just wasted your turn. It can be cast multiple times on different targets, assuming your Alchemical Reserves can handle it. It certainly isn't enough to cover all 62 units at once, but you could probably block the important people in the front lines at least.

An interesting sheet, to be sure :P. As it stands, he would be completely useless in a fight (pretty much guaranteed to miss every shot, die if he gets hit, and not really able to dodge well). His weapons do literally nothing, he can't protect himself from incoming fire, and the only thing he is good at is transmutation (which is a rather indirect school to have.) It looks fine as well as you are aware of this :P.

Un, for balance reasons I would probably have to treat them like a normal ranged weapon (If I gave them a bonus full from Strength, they would be basically be a better melee weapon in every way, and I don't really know what fraction of the bonus would end up being a fair tradeoff for the extra range :-/. This is probably the simplest fix.)

Otherwise it looks good! Due to their variety, the actual individual effects of the stones would be pretty week, basically splitting the 20 points between the four abilities coming out on ~5 points each (the "Tattoo of Sorcery" helping out only a little here), though they would still be able to hit with the full force of your range weapon.

@Stirk figured as much, hence why I asked

And tattooed warriors ars are only common to me due to my tight connection with the PBBRPG Nexus Clash, where I shamelessly stole the inspiration and all my tattoo names from.

Yup, I know.

I figure that the rest of the party has combat handled, so I decided to focus on utility.

I'm sure I'll find a use for it, whether it's to soften their forces, clear out a bunch of weak grunts, turning into a designated distraction, or finishing off an enemy with a grand display.

I'll let you stand behind me when they start shooting :P

Its been over a day now. How long will people have to post before you update without them? I want to know how many times a day I should be hitting my F5 key.

Long enough. I thought about doing it today, but realized I have a bunch of other stuff I should probably get started on  :P. Its just one guy, right? We shouldn't have to wait *too* long on him.

I think that would be ATHATH, who hasn't been on since the game started. PMing him wouldn't help much in that case :-/.
