UpdateNivian((Wat... sorry, I had sort of assumed the enemy commander was on the landship))
Look for some kind of sidearm on the dead while Na Shugareth handles his raider. It would not do to interrupt mutual combat.

You find an awesome looking assault rifle on one of the dead crew members. It has extended mags, comes with a strap, it has a weird interface on the trigger that automatically links itself to your visual input and adjusts your aim. It's super shiny too. Your find was so awesome that it attracted the notice of Jessa.
"Umm... thats caravan property. Just so you know." (You have gained the item "Souped-up assault rifle"
StuartKick the raider in the groin, follow up with an uppercut with my power glove.
(1 vs 3)
You deliver a swift kick to the groin, but the raider is definitely a female. She looks at you funny for a second, and then stabs you in the left shoulder with her Bowie knife. You are starting to feel faint from blood loss. You can't use your left arm at or below the shoulder right now. Your (Iron will) is the only thing keeping you conscious and in the fight right now. The Bowie knife is stuck in your shoulder.... or whats left of it.
AntonioAntonio tries to regain his senses after the impact.
Woah. . . That was unpleasant.
Catch up with the rest of the group, running over the survivors of the UFO crash if they are in the way
"That... uh... woah. Not good" You say to your self. You take note of the raider crawling away in the sand and steer your APC towards him as you slam on the pedals. Instead of taking off like a rocket, the APC belches black smoke from under the engines hood, and starts to move forward at a snails pace. The injured raider notices your slow approach, and starts to crawl like a mad man. Apparently, he was paralyzed from the waist down during the crash, but not too badly wounded. By an enormous effort of will, he manages to stay ahead of your slowly rolling death machine. You loom over him with the standard villain grin as the shadow of your black smoke deathmobile slowly overtakes him. (I may award you a trait if you go through with this)
LuckeyPray.
(4+2 = 6)
Something different answers your prayer this time. You feel cold, and a little relieved as it leaves. It might have examined you a little too closely. You feel violated. (Gained one point of "Of interest to demons.")
Na Shugareth
Disappointed by the weakness of his blows, Na Shugareth takes some distance to look for a weapon or anything to hurriedly makeshift one.
(6)
Na Shugareth backs off and looks for anything that looks useful in combat. You find an old book one of the raiders that details schematics for a number of advanced and jury-rigged weapons. A few pages seem dedicated to a jumble of word salad titled "spells". Faint memories flicker in your subconscious at some of the words. Your eyes fell prickly reading some of the strange letters. Another part of the book contains training routines and small unit tactics. It contains personal notes scrawled in a variety of inks ...and bloods? This book is a powerful weapon for any group to hold. Given the immediate situation though, you could, uh, smack someone with it? ( you have gained the book "1001 facts about murder")
The CampThe land-ship finally passes the watchtowers, and two shots ring out as sharpshooters pick off the remaining raiders. All manner of small craft have come out to escort the convoy and the zip around like angry wasps, as if expectant of more raiders. Jessa collects herself a little bit more now that the convoy is out of danger.
"Ok, Ok. Wow. That was... close. I need to take the landship back to dry-dock before I do anything else, but after that I can take you by Jeffers , uh... Jeffer is the leader of the setlement, but I can take you by Jeffer's place and show you around the rest of the settlement if you want. I guess we could probably let you stay at our place for now too, if you want. We owe you that much at least."You try to ask more questions, but she waves you off promising to answer later. She seems very busy dealing with the remains of the convoy right now.
(players on the land-ship have the option of following Jessa, or trying to explore on thier own)
With the last of the raiders dead, Turner swings the pod-racer around.
"We need to pick up our people. If they're alive, we don't leave anyone behind." He explains to you. You gather up Skins, who is now unconscious, and plop him into the co-pilots seat. You swing wide of the UFO wreck, on the lookout for any lingering raiders, and find Antonio on the far side. He seems to be pushing the last out of the APC in the effort to run down a comically injured raider. From the looks of it though, the raider just might be faster than the APC. Lucky has the thought that exposing a professional assassin modern technology might have overexcited him just a bit. He reflects on this while watching Antonio leering over the steering wheel at the helpless raider below.
Stuart Nix is picked up by one of the escort craft. Upon seeing his wounded state and fading consciousness, they decide to rush him to the infirmary. He is brought inside a large tent deep inside the settlement, where a variety of people and things buzz around him nervously. After much poking and prodding, a few spray cans of some weird skin colored slime, and a wash with fluid from a container labeled "Bacta", Stuart is stable and conscious. He rests in a quite part of the tent, hooked to several different machines. The canvas above him is green. It reminds him of Vietnam era medical tents. A few creatures are snoozing in the beds near him. "
You get hit in the war, son?" An old man with a wide mustache reclines in a bed next to him. He has decided to have a conversation with Stuart, and scrutinizes him as he waits for a response. The Bowie knife that was previously in your shoulder has been laid by the side of you bed. (You have gained the item "Big ass Bowie knife")
It is finally more night than day. The world is lit by a silver glow, but looking up you can tell that this does not come from a moon. Instead, the remains of what must have once a massive space ship hang in the sky above you.

((Ok, the game name has officially been changed. The next thing we need to work out is how EXP works. Did I mention this is a game with XP and leveling? It is, btw. I can either do it on a party basis (add it all up and divide it equally) or a per-kill basis (Whoever got the last blow in gets full credit for the kill). Ill replace the current poll with a poll for the EXP system.))
((oh, right. Sorry about the lapse in updates. I got really busy there for a bit. Hopefully I can be a bit more regular with them for a while again now.))
((Oh! one more thing!
GIVE ME FEEDBACK! What do you like/dislike about the game? What do you want me to do differently? The game is kinda evolving as it's written, so this is your chance to have a say!))
((...so, the GM's promise came in handy today. I kinda lost the entire post when I tried to post with a bad internet connection. Fortunately, I had just saved, so I didn't have to retype a thing!
))
