I'm not sure if you guys remember OOC, but the incoming ship isn't the buyer's, it's Vera's Master. I think Khate mentioned that name, but she didn't see the terminal so...

The kitchenette mold free, you move on to the pantry. it's nasty in there. The bacon is grazing on the lettuce. The ham is having an illicit affair with the prime rib, The potatoes see all, know all. A rat in boxer shorts smoking a foul smelling cigar is banging on a cabinet shouting about rent money.

The ONLY thing I know is that the buyer's ship is in-system and doing something on a course to somewhere. :P I have no idea whatsoever otherwise, like 'woah what is this ship doing out of nowhere o_O'

Which makes perfect sense IC anyway. So I'm responding to something I've no idea about; presuming I don't have IC knowledge to the away-team, the same still applies if I had.

I didn't remember that. Perhaps we should flee. And then possibly retire. We could find a nice backwater planet and found a commune?

I thought it was the buyer though, all funnily shielded and stuff. Damn.

EMP pulsing would REALLY HELP our target or at least work with whatever's going on.
We just need to wait on Draig it currently seems :O Add in a bit of activity with a few folks too by just a tiny bit. We're going to wrap this up without dying! :P [/this is what you get when you view trailers and prequels as the only proof-of-evidence; hype!]

Well.

Maybe.

Ah man, I was going to update my game, but then spent all lunchtime instead browsing for laptops for someone else. Pff.

Sorry guys, I'm not going to use the H-word, but my schedule is being rather awful. I'll try to write during my breaks, but I'm rather dying of lack of sleep and... stress. Apparently, I am actually capable of hyperventilating. I honestly didn't think my personality was capable of that.

I am good. I will continue. Just not until I'm done depopulating my alma mater doing stuff.

I can only sympathise, Draignean - I have a hairy schedule too. Similar problems. We, I imagine, are all happy to wait for your amazing story though. Best wishes :)

Yeah, I'm really enjoying the game. I hope the quality/quantity of my posts reflects that, and that you actually enjoy reading them. The more I like a game, the more I write, usually. Someone give me a wordcount! Not really.

...

Btw, the rest of you need to insert your own generic 'We enjoy all that you do Draignean!' posts, so he feels really bad for not coming back. :V

Btw Draig, do you mine tossing in a mini-turn where we all get a 'moment of rest'? Pretty much move us to a point where nothing happens, but we get time to roleplay with each other, in the potentially infinite time between now, the end of the hiatus, and the heat death of the universe.

I'm just asking for some plot time. :P Like how in the movies, the bomb has 5 minute timer, but the heroes get at least 10 minutes of expository dialogue...

Edit: Or maybe he could flashback us to like, when all our character met or something. Most likely in a tavern of some sorts!

Mine was in a tab I thought I had replied! :O So :P !

But yeah. Pretty much me ever since joining the RtD subforum was enjoying and connecting with it because the GM cared about their players--they can be harsh or not, but respecting the IC nature of the characters (rather than possibly stereotyping them out of character in-game with stereotypical actions without initial explanation...I'm being vague here <_< anyway). And to that, that's in challenging the players to work with each other and with what'll be going on. This is pretty much me saying that I appreciate the walls of text you manage to churn out even if I only see my section at the current time--I read it all back later on and find myself enjoying the whole picture from our views when I've the time, and it's worth it (even if I die or not).

So less of an appeal to emotion but more of acknowledgement to the already-present connections and prowess in GMing. It's also difficult picking players for your starter slots and that may disappoint some folks too, but this GM communicates with everyone or tries his best to, via PMs! (Personally relating that here; I've talked with folks and waitlisters over PMs to setup mini-adventures as an aside :P)
It's a very good point to forward and strengthen belongingness, because that's one characteristic everyone has, and needs.

You guys are goddamn awesome, you know that, right? I'm very much a 'happy when other people are happy' kind of person, and guess what, I could use some happy right now. It's late, I'm tired, but I'm going to be tired regardless, so I might as well spend some time doing what I love.

It's not a big update, and I did 0 editing, but you're now in two groups of three with the ability to time extend your conversations pretty freely. If I get snips of time I'll update NPC dialogues as needed. I feel sort of like S-s-senpai moth right now. Except with more dread.

Spoiler: S-s-senpai Moth (click to show/hide)

EDIT: Bonus Content, Draignean's SM act 1 writing music.
