Kesari would be great for this mission! ...if only it didn't exclude 'wide open spaces' and 'long distance scouting areas' >.> I modeled her after a Mass Effect/Crysis Infiltrator and then did a few adjustments that required space to move. :I
That said, I do think Kari would stay back for scanner and intel reporting, since as far as I know, we can hook up our communications to the stations' communication network and (sans advertisements and spam) be able to safely communicate that way.
Kes could pretty much go on the mission though as a weapons platform that can run on walls, but she is not designed for close-range fighting.
(Technically she can, due to using scout rifles and having a sound amplifier, but both are limited in use in a way)
It's worth noting that if there's three mercy ships already docked, our odds of feigning not-mercy status are probably pretty low.
Khate should probably not go on a stealth mission unless we're trying for refuge in audacity.
I may be really missing something but correct me if I'm totally wrong
> Varky left to the planet for the goat trade
> Assumedly the mercs now park in the only station that can receive ships
> We arrive and then scan and see all these (even that strange trader ship)?
= We probably have time to make plans. Either go planetside and chase that shuttle/interrupt the trade, or go aboard the station and do work there. We must assume that if Varky is coming back to the station, he'll notice the merc ships docked there...and get prepared.
Draignean: What're the chances that a personal ship has some kind of teleportation device that can 'transport' crew and other matter over a distance? I'm under that as a possibility
