We'll see about the longland beer, unless those darn treedwelling gnomes in the hovel of a fortress I trade for have poured it over the battlements already.

Meh. I won't be happy until you agree to sell your crossbow.

I have 50 amulets, you'd be surprised how many people throw these away. As for the cloaked one, I have a jar of *prickle berry jam*. The amulets are 1 copper coin each and the jam's 2 copper coins.

The figure stands stock still, before giving a sly grin, as the figure's face is obscured by his cloak, it is rather unnerving.

"Excellent... Would You... Be... Willing... To... Accept... Credit?"

Credit? Why, what in Armok's name is credit? Never heard of it.

Credit? Why, what in Armok's name is credit? Never heard of it.

The figure's grin disappears, and is replaced by a sympathetic, slightly confused, and somewhat patronizing tone. As the figure speaks, his catlike eyes shift across the store rapidly, and his hands gesture wildly.

"You... Are Unaware... Of... Credit? Simple... It Is... The Customer... provides a... fraction of... product cost... upfront... Shopkeeper... receives full payment... In... monthly Installments... Simple... It Is..."

Hmm.... Sounds reasonable. I'll take it. And here is the jam. Enjoy it.

Hmm.... Sounds reasonable. I'll take it. And here is the jam. Enjoy it.

A skeletal hand whips out and snatches the Jam from the shopkeeper's hand, and another hand plucks several beard hairs. The figure chuckles, deeply smells the Jam Jar, and slides the Jam into his cloak before speaking.

"Simply... Exquisite... Pardon Me... For the... Facial Melanin... Strand Removal... It Is... Necessary... for Rituals... To uphold... Bargain... Yes? Yes..."

With that said, the figure throws exactly 1/4th of a copper coin into the face of the shopkeeper, before vanishing in a flash of black smoke.

Soooo.... Any news? Need anything delivered? Or can I interest you in bartering for these 500 steel sword & shield sets?
I have them just here *rummages in cloak* I swear I could have put them... somewhere...
Well, they're somewhere nearby, and I'll trade for, oh, I dunno, say the contents of your entire shop? Shall we call it a deal?

*spits out dwarven beer he was drinking* The contents of my entire shop?! Did you not get what you needed for your mood?! (Translation: Are you crazy?!) I will take one of those sets for... these 30 dragon bone figurines of Likot Deepage, Baron of Beerheart! They're well made. Also, can you deliver these 25 plump helmets to Beerheart? It's only a quarter day's travel.

Can you REALLY afford to waste beer? *looks condescendingly*
Yes, I will surely deliver those plump helmets or die trying!
Also, I will come back with the swords and shields soon-ish.
Cheerio! Try not to go bankrupt in the meantime!
Also, I assume I will get a share of 20% of this delivery, making it... let's see, 5 plump helmets for me and my horse's troubles?

Perfect. I will be fine. And also, here's a few gold pieces for your trouble. (Gives you 6 gold coins) Spend them however you like!
