That had almost been too close for comfort, but she was none the worse for wear. A moment to reposition. Then fire rained down from the hills.

"How can you protect the prince if you can't protect yourself?"

"Hmmph! You can hardly crack skulls yourself! But no, my skills don't lie towards the deflecting-arrows direction."

"Uhm." Taukek grunts as Si's powerful legs launch them into the air once more, divested of their cargo the pair rapidly soared across the ridge, Taukeks long lance reaching out, seeking the heart of the archer that has fired upon Ghamina. After passing the archer Si shifted her wings, rapidly killing her forward momentum as she rose into the air, two duo flipping almost upside down before Si twisted her body around, bringing them in line for another pass by the archer.

Biting back a curse as Si areal maneuvers brought them into a harder then expected landing right near an enemy, Taukek leveled his lance at the shield bearer as Si struggled to catch her breath and regain her feet. Taukek kept his eye on the enemy knight as he called back over his shoulder. "Of course we shall protect you. Quickly, move to the safety behind us."

Ghaminia moved to the cover well enough, but hesitated.

She sang out a clear note towards the wyvern rider filling him with the resonant energy.

Karima unleashes a torrent of fire upon a thug, his armour offering no protection against her magic.

Prince Jan's wagon surges forward to follow up the mage's attack. He fires his crossbow at the burned assailant, sending him down into the dirt for good. Afterwards the Prince advances to C-10, in fear of the approaching horsemen.
