A fair amount of time? Does that mean, that between that clash and your summoning, there was a lull? That town seemed to suggest so, the people there seeming to be used to each other's presences, but that would mean...

A cold unease sinks into you, an almost sick feeling settling into the depths of your stomach. If there was that much time, and Discord summoned first, then he likely thought up of that first, and Harmony only learned recently, very recently. That means, he had all that time to prepare, all that time to stack the decks and load the dice.

A chill runs down your spine.

>"Just checking a suspicion of mine." Turn towards the others, "Be alert, we might be walking straight into a trap."

Valor seems hesitant, but eventually gives in and continues walking.

The man seems to be content with painting while muttering strangely. "Farewell, Champions. Now, let us count colors... one, two, three, any less than two and it becomes solid and meaningless, four, five, six, seven, eight. That's two times two times two. What a wonderful castle!"

... A little bit later...

You are all in front of a foreboding set of doors. Metal and gothic, they very much blend in with the rest of the castle - it is almost comical how much the building stands out in the idyllic scenery.

Valor places a hand on one of the doors, before looking back at the rest of the party. "We strike quickly and efficiently. Defeat any adversaries and attack Thiyr as soon as possible. We outnumber him seven to one. Are all of you ready to fight?"

Mawr shifts the axe at her hip, and raises her hand, prepared to cast her terrain magicks and to pool water in the hallways of the castle.
"I am ready as well."

Ryuto uncomfortably shifts, looking over at Sera.

Sera doesn't notice, as she's fiddling with her belt a bit more.
