I fear that if both of these Fiends are not taken care of quickly, they will continue to grow in power.

Nobunaga frowns. "Do not feel obligated to follow me against this foe. It's clear that you want to, almost need to face this King Thiyr. You... have my permission to face him, if you so desire."

Nagisa sighs.

"How about I jump on you guys's bandwagon, and Mawr, you come with us. You should fight to your strengths. That means the agent dude can go scout the castle on his own if he really wants to, or else we can all fight Kokoro together."

Mawr shakes her head. "A double assault may be more difficult, but if we don't do it we are going to lose ground, which would unfortunately probably bring our victory to a net zero. A spot of land outside this Kokoro's house isn't going to give me much leeway either -- when I refer to outside battles, I refer to large spaces where I can control enemy flow."

"But in terms of overall resources, we'll come out ahead in total forces. We can take back the rest after. And unless we have some kind of advantage fighting multiple battles at once, we'll take more losses."

"...well, that depends on our definition of losses. By ignoring an enemy who make a move, we not only leave their forces intact, but risk losing out strategically with the difference of our position and, well, this is a bit more important, we risk civilian losses."

Joseph quite visibly flinches upon Nagisa using the word, 'kill', though he doesn't comment on it.
"If Thiyr already has a damn castle to himself, then the two assaults at the same time might be necessary, before they fortify and entrench themselves any further."
