Whenever I read it, I always sing it: "Goatma~an"!
Or is it pronounced with a long "A" like "Goatmahn"

Someone already had the "man" version, so I added an a. I was going to use "ma'an" but it didn't look right. Similar to the Baa..aa noise goats make. The first guess is correct.

Some people write the way they speak in real life. Goatmaan probably just has this nervous tick where he says "Goatmaan" after completing each thought.

 If I have a nervous tick, it's because after 21 months, slow, but rock solid  Anvillocked has become abruptly and seriously unstable. Same fps as at least May, but crashes out of the blue. Dwarf #'s lower, "many" item counts reduced, nothing major going on and boom. It may be a dirt road designation, but if not.. .ugh. Already haven't played for weeks, knowing I'll have to find the source.
Might be "last stable save" time real soon.

Something is definitely wrong with blocks. The 2 ways I can crash are paving/flooring too many 10*10 areas with granite blocks. In z stocks, attempting to view the blocks is one scary lagfest, wich I now avoid like the plague. I have other items with much higher counts that don't lag a bit, but 34k built granite blocks and 12k stockpiled cause minutes of lag to display. But 77k drinks (and 40 types) doesn't even hiccup.

If we assume your drinks have an average stack size of 10 (that's probably an excessively conservative estimate) then your 77k drinks are internally tracked as 7.7k items. Your blocks, however, are tracked individually, so 46k blocks = 46k items.
