"Well, it tracks you so we always know where you are. It might be a bit invasive, but it also means we can find and help you if you're in danger - I also have one, as an implant.

That one... big as it is, it's provisional, probably has a tranquillizer in it in case you go berserk, and maybe a kill switch if you decide to betray Akras, or steal from it and run away. When you're seen as reliable I trust they'll change the collars for smaller permanent implants."

Ratodx leans towards Reserti. "Think about it like this. They do this for everyone. The only difference between what Amadou has and these _{besides the likely kill switches} is that these are probably cheaper and reusable. They're for until Akras understands that we're worth the money for what other 'employees' have."

Funfact for Amadou. Foxhound has a couple of uplifted dogs that is probably worth more than his entire team each. That, and they could do speedruns of Half Life 3.

There is literally at least a couple of animals that's being treated leagues better than any of you at this very moment.

After everyone put their collars on, the man in the screen continues. "Now that you've got the collars on, I remind you that doing.. undesirable actions towards Akras will have.. consequences. The collars will not come off without proper authorization, and prying them open is.. ill-advised. You don't need to understand how it works right now, all you need to know is that wherever you go, we will know.

Now onto a more.. pleasant subject. Today, you will learn the basics that will be required of you as an Akras employees. You will learn how to safely use a firearm and explosives as well as First Aid handling, you will be fitted for a uniform and you will be tested at lunch time. If you can pass the basic adjustment test, then you will earn your uniform, your gear and your mission. Failing such a mundane task and you can consider your contract terminated.. permanently.

But if you pass, then this evening your team will be assigned a mission for tomorrow. You will the remainder of the evening and night to prepare and rest for tomorrow.

Good luck, Auxiliaries, and remember. We, will be watching." With that, the screen flickers off, the light comes back on again. Now may be the time to discuss your future and react to the briefing.

After everyone gives their input, we can move on to the rest of the day.

"Explosives are what in another Terran language is facetiously called 'boomstoffe'. They go boom, along with all that happens to be around; that microwave incident was nothing compared to what even a hand grenade can do... You'll soon see for yourselves.
As for the clothes, if yesterday you were using the same as I, that arrow would likely not have even injured anyone, much less go straight through. Unfortunately you have to pay for the better armour, mine was 15 credits."
