((As in, the birds are quite (very) large, as you'll soon see on my drawing (in which I even scaled them down a bit), imagine a bird with the approximate body size of a horse. Reserti would sit on a saddle between the neck and the wings (unless this isn't biologically feasible, IDK). Imagine the giant eagles from the Hobbit / LoTR, and Reserti has a breeding pair + his mount))

((Frankly the issue with large birds is hollow bones to reduce weight+How birds actually fly with physics+extra weight from armored rider in a spinal location that prevents flying=very dead birb.))
