Mako had sent Ratodx a translated copy of the files on 003. Mainly it's just the annotations translated into a dozen Gaian languages because Mako couldn't bother looking up which one is 'Goblinese'. Possibly Ratodx will be able to watch the videos more fully now that they're not in a VTOL

After sending the report for Ratodx to completely scrap review, Dexter decides to socialize with some of the members of the team. He messages them over comms:
"Where is everyone? We should be celebrating! We survived that hellhole, most of us relatively sane!"

"Celebration? I almost got punched by that guy who owes me money."

(He knows Danh's name, he's trying a "do x for y" tactic. "Do x for y" is what I'm calling Khaiden's interactions where he doesn't understand how they work (he doesn't feel empathy properly, so he just assumes other people are insane) but they do. Like love, honor, insults, telling the truth when it's harmful to the teller, etc. In this case he's antagonizing Danh because he's "learned" it people automatically view the most angry person as the wrong one.

Seeing as Mako isn't an idiot, she's only really experiencing the positive effects of being drunk and thus can still answer IMs.

"Depends on what kind of celebrating. I'd rather be as far away as possible from most of you when you're drunk."

"Well, a traditional elvish celebration is several days long and involves ritual sacrifice, so we'll go with whatever it is Terrabs do to celebrate a victory. Mind educating us?"

(Khaiden associates drunkenness with increased odds of attention-drawing murders happening. Basically drunk people make bad decisions like "bully the frail little man" and then Khaiden has to get out of town. Or just make sure it doesn't get traced to him. 50/50.)

(The best thing about being cyber drunk is that you can do all the bar fights you want with no one actually getting hurt. I may or may not have plans for Khaiden and Danh to duke it out in VR to get some frustrations vented. There may or may not be betting.)

(How would they simulate Khaiden's magic? Otherwise it'll just be Khaiden getting the shit beaten out of him. With magic Khaiden can atrophy Danh's body to death with the power of entropy and then pluck his soul from the still-twitching remains before devouring it, but without it he's a piss-poor combatant.)

Danh pipes in on comms, sounding annoyed.
"I'm busy, tree-hugger. Buy the team actual alcohol, and I'll consider 'celebrating'."

Khaiden happens upon something that makes him smile.
He walks up to Ratodx:
"I think it's best if Danh and I settle our differences once and for all. From what I've heard (he's been using voice commands and having stuff read to him by the computer) there's a VR simulator that we can fight in with no damage to our real bodies. I'd like to face him. Since it would be unfair to have too much of a disadvantage we'd both be using the same body type. If I win he pays me the money he owes right now. If I lose the debt's canceled. Either way it's out of the way and he gets the fight he obviously wants. Is that alright?"

There being no available alcohol, Danh has changed from a uniform into whatever Akras provides as training-wear, and is in a gym.
He's decided to angrily beat the shit out of a punching bag, going as fast as possible.
The man has decided to work on his speed. After all, if you can punch people fast enough to keep them from moving, your hits don't have to be full force.
Or something.
It's really only a half idea right now. He's hardly thought it through. Or anything, for that matter.

"We just get smashed from alcohol and then have a good time. I don't drink real alcohol, though, so I make do with virtual reality."
