Imic harvests love berries in F7 with the farming tool. I also help consteuct Maegil's barricade.

(I'm not working this turn, Beatrix and Asker took it off to lay eggs.)

There is not actually a unfinished barricade in progress.

*Rule update*
The Egg caste has been added to the first post, as well as the Fragile "ability"

*Tip*
Eggs can be seen in the character list. There's a saying...

Turn 20
Upkeep: Four units of food are eaten.

Asker of questions consumes 1 additional food, restoring 1 health. Asker of questions and Beatrix Purnima go to the Palisade at F7. Seven eggs have been created! Research begins on Child Care.

Easter Sunday uses the Stone Axe to collect 1 log, 1 ropevine and 1 golden fruit. Research on Broadhead Arrows has completed.

Imic uses the farming tool to collect 5 love berries from the farm at F7.

Yeah, we should definitely move some of the eggs so they aren't all in the same place , but idk where. I'll leave that to you Maegil.

On F7, harvest the paddy field and the portion of the farm that Imic can't. Research child care.

I agree, I'll get some more materials and make another palisade on F6.
Don't forget to harvest the extra berry.

Eat two love berries.
Go to F6 and gather branches with the tool.

Research child care.

Alternatively, someone could make another stone axe and help with logging. The children could be raised in the house.

Easter Sunday uses 2 labor to fell more trees on G6. He uses the last labor point to create a simple string out of the ropevine.  He then moves to G7, and checks the pit trap. He starts researching the mystery gray substance in the communal inventory. He eats the golden fruit in addition to a loveberry.

Don't tell me how to raise my own childrenRight now , we're just worried about keeping the eggs safe from predators. The house is definitely an important project.

The house is definitely important, but if I move further away I can't research child care with Beatrix. Besides, we're short of branches and stone for the axe.

My current plan:
This turn I'll collect branches, the next I'll make a thorn gathering tool (let's see if we can finally avoid getting stung gathering them) and gather more branches (the tool isn't available on the same turn).
On the third turn, I'll go back, gather thorns with the tool and grab some eggs. On the fourth, I'll head elsewhere, deposit the eggs somewhere safe, and build another thorn palisade around them. Maybe rinse and repeat: get some more thorns, more eggs, and make a third palisade elsewhere - in case of emergency they'll be useful anyway.

Has anyone a better suggestion?

The thorns are exactly the reason I'm trying to make salves. We need to regain hp without just eating more food.

Also, without a way to store them, how does making/using salves work? Do we just cup our hands and drink it?

I think we're supposed to use the clay to research pottery. Anyway, a salve takes two vegetables and a labour for a total cost of three labours, while eating only one extra food costs one labour; to do both would help to regain health faster, but it's less cost-efficient - at least unless the salve's effect is greater than 3HP per turn...
Hmm, maybe we should experiment mixing different types of herbs to see if there's a difference.

I would assume that the salve would heal more than 1hp, otherwise it would be literally useless, and I don't thing supernerd would be that cruel.
That's also why I was researching glass earlier, so we could make bottles.

Yeah, im 90% sure that salves will restore more than 1hp. I will research healing again, after I finish my current research project. Restoring health seems to be quite a major problem. Wished one of us picked regeneration as a species ability now :(.
