Trade bugs..?

I think again a bigger bug with trading beside the Fact that only Humans come to trade with my Humans these caravvans are not very reliable since they either arrive and then instantly go again or simply dissapear as soon as they touch my trade Depot like into thin air they even show up as missing in the Dead/Missing tab...

I don't think it's mod specific.

Caravan arrival depends on how far your fort is from racial cities, how much they like your and if there is no war between here and there.

Also late merchants can really unpack and pack goods right away. I save when caravans enter the map.
If the above is the case I restore save and gift them something expensive - this usually makes them stay for few days.

Apart from that, yeah, they die on the spot, drop goods that got bugged etc.
