No matter what Roseheart says, 3 v 1. The bay of B'lay it is. I shall make a writeup when I have finished walking the dog and having lunch.

And so your journey begins. You all met in a tavern, somewhere up north of here. There was Vol'nek, an elf all the way from Alfheim, Tyr, a Follower of Ibaldur, and an Ulfhendar, Rainor, son of a nobleman from Eldrathion, to the east, who apparently spent some time in the general academy in Gelrand, and Spyro, a small dragon who didn't talk much, except at one point when he mentioned something about a skiing accident. You all decided to head to B'lay, to fight Vikings and gain treasure and fame. You soon set out, following the great west road, camping when you could, when you came to a crossroads. There is a sign, which points two ways, with each road stretching into the horizen.
One points to the Old kingdom, to the northwest, and the other points to the lands of Hrelden, to the south.
So?
Where shall you go?
To the old kingdom? There is sure to be a couple of merchants who would pay good money for adventurers to protect their vessels.
Or to Hreleden, where you would gain fame and glory fighting raiders, but probably not much money. They're very poor, down in Hrelden. Your reputation would swell though...
So?
To Hrelden?
Or the Old kingdom?
You decide!

My vote is for Hrelden. Fame leads to money.

Hrelden. To hell with money, too much money at too low fame leads to disaster more often than not.

Okay, tomorrow we shall go to Hrelden. The old kingdom will give money to us for protecion, but heroes are many in those lands, and we shall go mostly unnoticed, eclipsed by the many others like us.
In Hrelden, we shall gain fame, because no - one cares about Hrelden, and our arrival shall be new and unexpected. While the rewards Shall be small, there are other ways of getting rich.

You travel along the long roads of B'lay, before entering the Hrelden borders. You walk through the sparesly wooded terrain for a good while, before the trees abruptly end, and you can see all the way to the sea. Far ahead of you, you can see a small village. You walk towards it.
The village is a small one, with a couple of houses, a town hall, a tavern, a blacksmith, and not much else. A small path leads down to a fishing dock.
The people welcome you, being a friendly folk. You head towards the tavern, which is run by a burly dwarf with flaming red hair. In one corner is a cloacked men, slowly sipping his ale. In the other corner, a couple of fishermen drink their ale and chat about nothing in particular. A shephard sits talking with the bartender, drinking goat's milk.
What do you do?

Rainor, seeing mostly simple peasants gathering around, tries talking to cloacked man to get more information about the surroundings and most recent news.
