Well you tried, you just need to practice your aim...

I was a bit excessive with my response, I could shorten it if it needs more interaction...

Oh, and the speech was totally rehearsed...

Man, I desperately need to organize these actions better. Maybe I should break the turn into phases or something...

I am hoping to get a small boost from my artefact's "borrow strength from your future/potential/just save up the damage for slow-release later" ability because it sort-of involves bartering and sort-of involves getting what you want but then losing it but I appreciate that my traits are sort of social and may not apply fully or at all. Hopefully the life affinity will help out but I respect that I may need to get a good roll to get what I want. Of course, I am expecting a phenomenal roll that will make the G.M. cry, so there is that...
Yeah sorry, that's kind of stretching the term Bartering. You get the bonus for Conflict, though, since it's explicitly a vigilante war-mask.

In related news, every single die for that action was a +0 or +2. There will be no compromise.

Anyway, that should be everyone's actions. If you still had some, either because you didn't use them or because I missed them, let me know. Now you may post actions for the second turn.

Any unfinished RPs and such can just carry on in asynchronous fashion.

Is Useful-Scribe's thingy an interaction or miracle?

Considering NPCs only get one action, do we need to specify if its a interaction or a miracle?

Quote
With the month's end, the expedition has successfully moved a full third of the distance required, albeit somewhat unintentionally. The landscape has shifted numerous times, the meltwater of Mourn gradually giving way to patchworks and stretches of everything from noxious green to suspiciously, terrifyingly pleasant meadows.
So all my miracle did was set us to a grueling/frantic pace.  :(

Desire to tactically headpat guide increasing.

Irony, with all the actions we could possibly do, maybe you might consider an Interaction/Miracle limit per turn so that the workload doesn't get too big? I have awfully bad self-control.

I agree. I didn't realize that we were still in the first round, otherwise I wouldn't have posted to accompany Vishdafish. Am I with him in the cavern with the hydra or back at the caravan?

There is a limit. 2 interactions and 2 miracles per turn/month. Interactions with NPCs will sometimes occur over several updates within the month. IronyOwl has said all this, though he is considering lowering the limit further.

You'll note your actions over the limit were not carried out.

Grinding through the turn continues. I should probably cut down on the number of actions everyone has.
I don't think that'd solve the problem, as the biggest word-to-action ratio seems to be the talking with the mortals, so that is the problem rather than our amount of actions?

Yeah, interactions with servants/denizens of the caravan do take up a lot of time, and I imagine they are quite hard to keep track of (and will be harder when/if we get more servants). One interaction and mircle per turn per deity would also be easier to manage. I will try to keep all my interaction and miracles in one post in the future.

You're with him, though technically you probably shouldn't be able to do much. Maybe you can use an Interaction from this turn if it proves important.

Hm, Interaction/Miracle stockpiling... probably terrible.

Not sure. The issue I was referring to specifically was one of organization rather than length directly, since doing the turn piecemeal results in having to go back and figure out what I've processed and what still needs to be done and where it is. Length is obviously related to that, since it's the cause of the piecemealery.

One of those great mysteries that SCIENCE!! may never answer... What happens if the Evil Shadow-duplicate comes into being at the same moment as the original enters Evil Shadow form?

The hero in me says capture it. But that may not be possible if its really strong. The second option would be to slay it. Retreat is not an option.

So creating a demigod is off of the table?

You thought it was dead, but it was me, Dio!

As a reminder, please keep track of how many actions you have left to use, and remember that we're still in Month 2. For some of you (hydraquest) this means you have an entire new set of actions, for a lot of the rest this may be a chatty month waiting for people to get in the goddamn snake already.

On that note, I think I am going to cut back on actions per turn. The flow on a lot of your actions feels a little off, which suggests to me that fewer actions more frequently is better for your projects than a bunch of actions in a glob.
