That is actually possible with the Combi-weapon rules  .

You're a HERETEK. You can find ways to get around that (while being respectful to the machine spirit :3) and not be bothered by the absurd laws of the Mechanicus--primarily, you're a free-thinker! So get to work in augmenting everyone with your Biologis expertise

I wonder if we run by a forge world somewhere, and whether we can commission a ship upgrade or stuff. That'll be nice, although as a newbie I'll totally be flailing about being a Navigator who has a jovial personality and likes being with other living beings.

...On that note, I hope our GM is ok ._. no response yet from him! (And I'm *still* seriously wondering what to do with my sheet since I feel there's a lot missing {people mention 4500exp and all, also I'm unsure how many powers a Navigator has at char gen, and where to pick them or how the ranking works when I read up the Navigator spot in the corebook})

No, the 4500 EXP is basically a number used to balance characters with DH characters, which we don't have to worry about. You only get 500 actual usable EXP, and the game just pretends you have 5k. Navigator starting things are on PG 178 (you said you had the book now, right?). In short, you start with The Lidless Stare and can choose one more. Instead of choosing one more, you can increase the rank of one of your powers. Basically, whenever you "Get A Navigator Power", you can use it to get up a rank in one you already have instead. At least that is my reading of it.

Its quickly approaching midnight here and I just spent the last several hours tackling homework and studying. I should probably be getting sleep . It looks fine to me, aside from the acquisition. I doubt Void read the question, so you might want to ask a bit more visibly.
