Author Topic: ye-olde masterwork, crash when unpausing game as gnomes. edit: found cause, help  (Read 1387 times)

i saved the game, exitted DF, shut down my computer after windows update, and now, when i try to load the same save again. when i press resume, or unpause, it crashes.

ok, so i looked at it again, and it appears to be working for a couple of turns before it crashes. what i mean is like, some wild sparrows managed to wander 2-3 tiles before the game actually crashed.

ok, so i tried loading an earlier autosave, it worked but when humans came to siege, like they did in the original, more recent save, i started getting crashes! any help ? any log i could/can post? it happened a bit after they arrived on map, the crash .

I moved my region1 out of the way unzipped your game folder and df doesn't show it in the list of loadable games.

Not sure if it will help.
I had similar crashes once - for some reason it was caused by farm crops in MDF 1.13.
I removed all the farms and crashes went away.

Trying, really. But the reasons may be a plenty, like some creature with broken raws trying to enter the map etc.
