The way I understood it, historic advantages do that, as the starting rolls reflect prior history that led to the present. I think that the focus gives a bonus on related rolls during the game.

Anyway, i will start working on your current governments and hash out the details of your nations with players individually.

Ok, more questions!

First off, how do we play? Do we PM actions to the GM and he posts results and developments in the thread? Does everything get posted publicly in the thread? Do only international developments get posted and everything internal is PM's between us and the GM?

How do precursor techs work? Do we get to choose specifically what they are, or just a general area to apply them in?

Do alien worlds imply an alien population, and if so, dosent that contradict the title? What are the populations of non-core worlds?

What does the interstellar geography look like? Are starting allies NPC's run by the GM or assigned allies from other starting nations?

Why does a lower population lower approval ratings? Shouldn't it be the other way around as it would mitigate scarcity?

You mentioned asteroid mining at one point, what asteroids are present in my systems? For that matter, what do my systems look like? Do all worlds imply thier own system, or do some of our systems contain multiple worlds?

Why does a lower population lower approval ratings? Shouldn't it be the other way around as it would mitigate scarcity?

Maybe because people are more politically conscious when their votes matter more? Not speaking with the voice of the GM here, just an idea.

Precursor Tech is generally beyond High-tech. If your normal technological advancement goes something like:

Basic FTl Drive (1 Light Year Jumps) -> Advanced FTL Drive (10 Light Year Jumps) -> 100 Light Year Jumps....

Precursor is basically: Precursor FTL Drive (10.000 Light Year Jumps)

that is just an example, you may specifically choose what they are i will however nerf them and modify them according to game mechanics to fit them in the game. Same goes for everything else.

Alien Worlds contain an ALien Population usually you are informed about those. It doesn't contradict the title. We are speaking about Medieval and Bronze-Age and Stone-Age and even lesser technologic aliens.

The Alone amongst the Stars part is that you are the only ones in Space at the time ;P

Population of Non-Core Worlds is the Same as Core Worlds. If i say you have a population of 5 Billion each thats 5 billion on each planet, core or non-core

Starting Allies are Assigned players by the GM and maybe even NPCs. Those however will only be created as needed. The Geography is not finished yet as i am still dealing with the creation of most players, then i need planet descriptions and names and so on and so forth.

Asteroids are irrelevant as is the form of the System. If you want to fluff it up i leave it to you, however for game purposes i will only deal with Habitable Worlds which all are in  Different Systems. How the System looks is irrelevant for that.

Can we develop space colonies as a technology? It would be interesting to have strategic objectives scattered around the system as an intentional military decision.
