Hello. This will be a strategic/roleplay Game in which you, the players, control a series of Human Nations in Space. Game Mechanic wise it will work very similiar to teh Sufficient Velocity Quests (
here is an example) or the Vinland Quest i'm doing in another thread. The Difference is that you will have total control (well mostly) over your own nation/dynasty/people.
IC-ThreadThe SettingHumanity turned to the Stars and found...nothing. Truly, thats it. Well mostly. What they found was that Humanity is indeed the most advanced Species in the Galaxy...that is living species.
Colonizing as we went along, we found that others have gone before us and that there are many other intelligent lifeforms out there...only they are more primitive than we.
Over the hundreds of years humanity has spent among the stars, many nations have risen and many fallen, new alliances are made daily and broken again. The only thing that unifies the disparate human nations is their common identity as a species and the rather vague guiding hand that the Council provides.
Council-Station. While originally intended as a United Nations of Space kind of thing, it failed just as much as the original United Nations did. Still it serves one purpose: Neutral Ground for Nations to meet and negotiate...and every now and then come (suprisingly) to an agreement.
Creating your NationNow thats gonna be a wee bit more complicated. To actually create tension, issues between different nations and something to work towards to, much of your nation will be randomly generated.
For now i need you to provide me a name for your little Space Empire as well as a government form. I warn you, the government form is important and will heavily influence your game. But don't worry you can still change it later.

For now that is everything, as we proceed with the character/nation creation i will put rules, mechanics and other important stuff in here.
