I think it would be a good idea to limit or entirely ban the export of recoiless rifles.
Considering their physics breaking nature, it could lead to unpredictable and dangerous outcomes. Also, I am still convinced that it is aliens who are trying to get it. Probably that is the reason of the invasion and why they are not killing us all from orbit ( a better reason than half the games of the genre, at least)

I wonder how exactly it works. Maybe it breaks momentum conservation? I am sure we could exploit that somehow.

Why would we have to worry about them taking the islands back? We would currently be the nation with he most well equiped and experienced soldiers and pilots on the planet currently. HelI half oit weaponry is at least half a decade ahead of everyone else, since arent we on our second generation of assault rifles?

we are not on our second generation of automatic rifles. we just have 2 different designs produced by 2 nations at the same time. Also, Japan might get some from germany. plus the things we are giving them.

We have a good tank, a good SMG, assault rifles.

We have decent planes which likely won't keep the pace with other nations during the war ( although I haven't checked).

But most importantly, we have no navy except a cargo ship with a few guns mounted on it. Not naval guns, just some guns we had and decided to stick on it.
You can see how that last point might be a liability in defending some islands.

Also consider that we are considered as having considerably less resources and manpower than the great powers.  During the war we can surely try to challenge one of them in a non crucial place, but it will be costly.

Our best bet to keep them is keeping japan happy and not desperate. Or giving a naval superweapon to the US in exchange of all the islands we want.

 Our aircraft are cutting edge in some respects but are mostly out of date. Our assault rifle and our squad automatic weapon(since the UF-47 lacks a fire selector switch it technically is not an assault rifle) should be replaced at some point soon.

This exists for like two years now. This since last year. This is just having it's first flights. Next year will bring us this and this. Nothing in our aircraft is cutting-edge anymore.

 Also, oh look, 1st gen jets! Which can be shot down by most propeller aircraft due to the fact that first generation jet aircraft are crap!

1st generation jets (such as Schwalbe) could (with quite considerable degree of skill and effort) be shoot down by actually cutting edge propeller planes of 1944s and 1945s, not shit that dates back to 20s or 30s, even if it's rough equivalent of early WW2 planes.

 Turbochargers, not superchargers. Turbos where rather rare, superchargers where common. The main differences are that turbochargers cost more, work better, and need better steels.

Also, the ME 262 is of a slightly later vintage than the experimental jets you showed.

It actually makes you wonder how we managed to fit turbochargers in such small planes. Huh.
There were often different "stages" in planes for different altitudes - turbochargers were often second-stage.

Next year will bring us this and this. Nothing in our aircraft is cutting-edge anymore.
