9:10 as scientist... after a while things got too complex to handle fast and subtly, and scientists aren't built for killing everything at once like soldiers are.
I still can't do well as a cop! ;~;
Really would like a more...controllable? time-slowdown, or maybe I'm just going all 'handcuff ALL the culprits!', and their running response time + agility makes it hard to stabilize, though I do like how that was thought out in how difficult it actually is to get someone on the run in a fluid environment.

...Re-reading all this, I think it's more me wanting to handcuff everyone that goes against the 'local law' like a classical slapstick. :P
But I am wholly serious on the matter that one can easily miss the handcuffing radius because of the quickness and key-holding that would make it cancel itself if you move just a bit too far. A 'sticky' perimeter would help (although being punched or knocked away by force would obviously still cancel it).

Are the optional missions (not the "big quest" that aren't yet implemented) you can get from some specific NPC not working on the current version or am i doing something wrong ?

When i ask a NPC (the one that has the M floating above him) when one is generated on the map, i ask for a mission and if i press "Accept" , nothing happens, the mission is not considered as accepted.

Anyways, i am still having lots of fun , but that killer robot that can be a map event was nasty , had to lose it in a corner of a district in order to complete a mission on the other side before he could catch up.
The radiation event did another fun , a few seconds to find a shelter between each radiation spike force you to plan your move and time when you are trying to get your pursuers killed by it.

When you accept an optional quest a quest marker should show up somewhere on the map and the M stays over their head. When you complete it the M turns green and you can come back for a reward.

I was playing as a cop and levelled up on the first level. One of the perks was "nimble fingers" and I clicked a different one by accident. I quit immediately.

That's the problem, i click accept and there's no quest marker that appear at the supposed location, and in the mission panel, the quest is still "unaccepted" , clicking dozen of time on "Accept [E]" does nothing for me , by example on the latest occurance i had of a "M" NPC spawning :
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

After clicking Accept changed nothing, i then went to the location and killed all the npc present there and still nothing.

Tried pressing "E", just in case? Using latest version? They work for me, and I think most other people, so might want to report it to the creator.

EDIT: 7:03 with soldier, because most other classes suck for speed.

I finally found how to make those optional missions to work :
- pressing on the "Accept [E]" does nothing
- pressing E , the shortcut to accept does nothing
- pressing Enter (that isn't mentionned anywhere on that screen) ... accept the optional mission.

Odd that pressing E or "Accept [E]" works for everyone else instead of pressing Enter, as i'm using the supposedly latest (alpha 14).
Anyways, it works with pressing oddly Enter so at least that's something :)

The game has support for shapeshifting into a slave then trying to run... I found this pretty funny.

By the way, Robsoie, the game tries to access to the web at launch because it checks whether there is a newer version you could download and play ;)

So I discovered a neat little exploit for getting past the 3-follower max.

You have to hack a clone machine, then use the "clone random person" option... this gives you a follower of a random class.

Do note that this follower may be useless of worse: could be a gangster, investment banker, cop, gorilla, whatever.

But you can get at least 4 followers this way. The clone machine breaks each time, but there's generally a clone machine in each level.

I said this before in the "Own" thread, but it's possible to make hack refrigerators to make them "Run".

You can also make TVs explode.

I'd be up for it, but might not be able to play much over Christmas.

What class?

What class?
Maybe the shopkeeper? Perhaps the the scientist (without his starting items)? The comedian is pretty lame as well...

What do you think is the most useless class?

Slum dweller is very weak, pure and non-situational, at first.
