I love the shapeshifter. Awesome concept. I'm having a bit of trouble with the controls in combat, though, a bit too twitch-based for me. But I still love the game!

Yeah, and a buncha new weapons, traits, bugfixes, etc. Not hugely different, but some tweaks.

Notabley, vampires are now invisible on CCTV. Which makes them... viable until the 3rd and 6th levels, as before.

My computer's bad, so riots make the game nigh unplayable... still a good game.

I speedran as... vampire, I think?

Forgot the time, but it probably wasn't that fast.

Here's a challenge I tried (and failed):
Complete the game without hurting/alerting anyone, getting hurt or destroying anything!

((Note you can hurt/destroy if it's a mission objective))

9:10 as scientist... after a while things got too complex to handle fast and subtly, and scientists aren't built for killing everything at once like soldiers are.

Speaking of subtlety - it seems that nothing ever seems to be in the right place to use the bartender's "martini" ability!

I remember that being fun for a second but somewhat impractical... I suppose the bartender is one of those small-perks no-detriments characters.

Enjoyed my play test , using a slum dweller and for some reason i had to kill a doctor then rescue some guy in a cell next to a generator.
The doctor went down easily, though i had to repeatedly punch him , having no other weapons.

To rescue the other guy it was more difficult as i had to sneak into a building that was near some kind of graveyard that had a couple of apparently harmless ghosts moving around it, walked right on what seemed to be an alarm and 2 guys with baseball bats rushed me, i ran away as they seemed to hit very hard according to my health gauge.

After losing them in the dark streets, i went back noticed a wall had exploded ( huh ? it wasn't when i ran away, i wonder if it was related to their baseball bats hitting very hard ) helping me to move easily inside the building, got more cautious but attracted the visual attention of one of the 2 guys that ran after me previously.

Was very surprised that he died in only 2 or 3 punches, he dropped a key that i used to free the target guy from his cell. After leading him back to the bottom of the level, the game told me that floor was cleared and i had to move to the other side to change level.

Looks like a game i'll have some fun with once i get more used to it :)

Now after the fun, the annoyances i had :
-i found there's some kind of inertia that i found very annoying when i was running away from the 2 guys
-the game tried to connect to the interweb at launch, denied it, fortunately didn't prevented it to run
-very odd lags here and there from time to time, not sure what is that heavy as that level didn't had hundred of AI running around, and most of them were completely static waiting in their rooms.
edit : seems that making the game windowed on 800x600 fixed that random lag problem for me, played a couple more characters without problems.

Playing stealth with the assassin character (for his camouflage skill) is really fun , trying to distract people and move to the targets. Too bad you can't seem to be able to open window (or even break them despite you can break tons of items in that game).

I got a "bombs are falling" level and i nearly laughed when the target i was supposed to neutralise had a bomb landing exactly on him :D

Though it's a bit annoying that you can't save/load a game, either you must finish it or abandon, and when you're just playing it in a burst the lack of save isn't really fun.
Hopefully this feature will be added in further updates.

But so far this game has been lots of fun, much more than i expected it to be, and the incredible variety of characters and how to play them gives it a lot of replay value along the randomized stuff of course.

You know what I hate? The only way that you can break windows so that you can walk through them is with window cutters, which are rare as all hell...

Well, that was until I realized that if I Primal Charged into a unbroken window while holding a knife, it would work, too. That was last update, though, so it might not work anymore...

Does anyone else know ways to get though windows?

Assassin's have a really easy way to get through walls. Wait or lure a random mook towards the walls, cloak, and backstab them. They'll fly straight through that wall and several others most likely.
