Mexican Standoff: a Reboot (Round 2 Turn 1) Looking for players
« on: September 04, 2016, 01:19:08 am »

We had a lots of fun last time, so let's try again, shall we?

Mexican Standoff: a Game of Yomi: a Reboot

Rules:
Each turn, every player still alive sends me a PM with one of the following actions:
  • Shoot a player: that player dies unless they shot themself, in which case you die instead.
  • Shoot yourself: any other players who shoot you die. If nobody else shoots you, you die.
  • Shoot the air: you avoid shooting somebody who shot themself, but you remain open for direct shots.
Actions are resolved simultaneously.
A turn lasts 48 hours, or as long as it takes for everyone to submit an action, whichever is shorter.
A player who didn't submit an action automatically shoots the air.
The last player alive wins. It is possible for nobody to win.
Before a round, players are given 48 hours to respond before they are skipped for another player in the waitlist.

Round 2 roster: (8/8)
  • SaberToothTiger
  • Arcvasti (1)
  • Felissan (1)
  • heydude6 (1)
  • Elephant Parade (1)
  • Wolfhunter107 (1)
  • Hector13 (1)
  • roseheart

Waitlist (number of rounds played; newer players take precedence):
  • Dustan Hache
  • Person
  • S34N1C
  • AzyWng

I'll confirm my spot, and suggest a shipwreck setting.

Please vote for that option in the poll, for an easier count.

Alright, we're ready to begin. Please PM me your actions for Turn 1 within the next 48 hours, everyone.

Shipwreck!

As it turns out, hiring a cheesemaker as your navigator rarely ends well, and a bone carver is less efficient at managing a boiler's temperature than one would think. A massive explosion just rocked the ship, and the cowardly captain nabbed most of the emergency supplies with him. What is he going to do with eleven inflatable boats, anyway? Only one lifeboat is left, and due to a leak on its side, it probably can't carry more than one sailor. Eight sailors must now figure out who gets the dishonour of not going down with the ship.
