I find it strange how they have the least layering for all the races. you would think they would have atleast some layering so they can live in cold pine forests comfortably.

What if we rename plate armor, barrel armor then everyone can get drunk while fighting.

Then human goblin and dwarf berserkers will be happy.

Mostly dwarves as they can't become drunk while their enemy will go unconscious randomly.

I wouldn't worry about that, dude.  Even the gauntlets are made of wood.  I doubt that'll look cool.

All I can see is that elves would get freaking massive splinters whenever they wear their wooden armor, especially since they rarely wear things under the armor.  Chafing taken to a whole new level.

Heh, that'd be pretty cool. Armor that doubles as a liquid container- in fact, it would be extremely useful ingame, to prevent dwarves from running off in the middle of dragging their wounded buddy off the field or whatever.

Thanks Fault I've been sketching all day just to come up with a few I wanted to share... I really want to be better at drawing/painting and so I have to practice a lot. At this point I just keep sketching until I get lucky and something comes out that is worth working on. I'm grateful to have this thread to keep me focused.

I think it's called a corkscrew in the game... you can't open a bottle of wine with that. Though, Archimedes's screws make more sense for water pumps.

It is indeed called a corkscrew, but the fact that you can pump water with them shows they have to be some kind of archimedes screw. So they're just misnamed.
