Goblins don't have it either, which is why they're so terrifying.

They live forever. The only thing that keeps their numbers down is the constant infighting.

Elves, on the other hand, are probably like taller, more primitive goblins.

Actually that's true, both Goblins and Elves share immortality in common. Perhaps they both evolved from the same subspecies, or Elves are what happen to Goblins who escape from Demon control.
