Gee, I was starting to think that there was some secret art pack that I didn't know about, and that the appearance of kobolds was somehow set in stone by Toady himself. You know, rather than being "k."

# Core90, PROPER KOBOLDS, (Future): Of course, this means different things to different people. To us, a proper kobold is neither a chihuahua man nor a mini-draconian, but instead sort of a small mammaloreptilian humanoid with pointy ears and yellow eyes with a penchant for trickery and mischief, context-based sublanguage, poisonous critter collection, traps and kleptomaniacal hoarding.

This sounds alot like the Jawas. Although nobody knows what a jawa really look like, but they are probably rodent-like reptomammals.

While it looks somewhat reptilian I don't think it looks like a lizard. Good looking kobold.

I guess it is in a sort of reptilian shape, but my intention was for it to resemble a ragged, toothy rat with a billy goat beard. The beard, teeth, and proportions are the things that set it apart from wild ratmen.

It should have some reptillian features though; the official DF description of kobolds puts them as a sort of mammal\reptile hybrid.

Hey everyone. While we're on the topic of visualizing DF races, I thought I'd post this.



It's an average looking Elf character, as opposed to Cacame the dwarfy elf or the insane Elf herbalist, which I don't really think are prime examples of what DF elves are supposed to be. This is one of them. He's looking down on you.
