For some reason I picture dwarves as either extremely relaxed or extremely excited. On days not spent drawing the organs from their foes, I suspect a dwarf relaxes with stone mug of creamy ale and a good pipe.

Took a look at the raws. You're right, goblins have five toes and five fingers on each hand. As for kobolds though, they've got three toes and five fingers. I'm calling it a kobold thief, so just ignore the lack of extra fingers and let's call it a day. Don't know where you're getting that kobolds are "cuddly," though...

the first game I played that had kobolds in it was world of warcraft, and their depiction of them has been ingrained into my mind. I can't picture the lizardlike D'n'D kobolds, they just don't look right to me. Kobolds will always be hairy, mangy rat-goat-dog men in my view.
