his face is based on a graphics tileset I made. the tiles were 10x12, so I didn't have enough room to make anything besides a circular face with angry eyebrows and pointy ears.

honestly, i always invisioned planepacked as some sort of insane massive monolith-style giant rectangle. each image on it going around from the base up in rings. with the very top of it on the horizontal 'roof' of the thing having one really big picture of it, as seen from a dramatic angle

I never read Nist Akath all the way through because it was too damn long.
If somebody put it in an easy to read format (like Boatmurdered in the LP Archives), I could probably read it.

It has merits as a story, but its very unlike boatmurdered. Boatmurdered is a good portrait of 2D Dwarf Fortress. Nist Akath is just so heavily modded and his author took so many literary freedom it can't be see as such (not that it claims to be...)

thanks, jackrabbit. I've heard some people see SOF's as more of a balrog-esque big manly bastard, but from the way that act towards my dwarfs in terms of ambushing, I've always pictured them as wispy and sneaky looking.

Has anyone else had the main boss Demon burn to death cause he stood too close to an SOF? I thought they were fireimmune, but apparently SOF's burn hot enough to hurt them...
