Your dragon has no eyes though... Underground blind dragon which uses smell?

Also, it's a common and nice way to kill a dragon: get your sword stuck, then twist it like mad.

What the dragon doesn't have is wings, since vanilla DF dragons can't fly, apparently.

Out of curiosity, what do you use to draw?

well, I drew that with a black BIC pen, and scanned it into good ol' MS PAINT, wherein I set to black and white (to remove any smudges), and then coloured in it.

I do have photoshop, but I haven't quite figured out how to use it yet...

I draw in photoshop exclusively right now, since my scanner broke and I haven't gotten around to getting a new one (damn things are expensive). Problem is my tablet is a bit wonky so things take me hours to get done.

That is a great depiction.  Does the wiki really say they're not dangerous?  God, I hate troglodytes.  The Dwarf Heaven map is infested with them.

Also: since this is obviously no longer a fanart competition (besides, Balathustrius wins hands down if it is) shouldn't it be renamed to something like the Fan Art thread? Just wondering.

oh and, just to get this out there, it is my personal opinion that troglodytes are the bastard offspring of dwarves and goblins, banished to the pits to hide the shame of their existence.

In my imagination they(Troggs) are a sort of ghoulish, barely intelligent, lizard creature.... alike to a troll as a mule is like a warhorse.

That mirthfull dwarf looks like it is molded from clay, very nicely done.

I checked the raws, and as it turns out, Frog Demons ARE FRIGGIN' GIGANTIC. Let's just... um... assume that the demon has been modded to be size 32. Or something.

Thanks.  Hmm, no wetfinger drag tool, no.  I don't actually know what that is (I'm almost a total photoshop newb).  It's just the hard round brush with opacity set to pen pressure (and a quick custom brush to render the hair faster).

He was actually part of a bigger picture; me practicing faces and such.  Here it is, if anyone wants to see the others.

That is quite good, esp the frog demon.  Good sense of anatomy.  I would say you have definite talent; keep drawing!
