I like the shading, but... doesn't frogs have a bigger lower jaw? Also, teeth on frogs - not so rad, imo. Don't take me wrong, though, I like the shading and the general style, especially the boots on the drow.

Wish I could use PS or openCanvas better, I'm stuck with both to get what I want, and that kinda kills oC's whole replay mode for me.

I was sorta thinking that "frog demon" is only a loosely descriptive appellation.  They don't really look like frogs, they just look more like frogs than they do anything else.

Maybe they actually do look like giant, fire-immune frogs, though.  But then, would they really be demons?  Or just giant frogs? 

These are questions not easily answered.

Crappy drawing, I know, I just felt the urge to add something to the post to contribute to keeping it alive. Mostly through letting people feel better about their drawingskills, seeing as I'm proving that dabbling is not the lowest possible grade of skill. oh, and by the way, I love this thread!

Toads, incidentally, do not.

Anyway, that elf(?) picture bothers me in a few ways. It's obviously unfinished (that's fine), but the head just looks like it's floating somewhere behind the armor. Also, the arms look like they bend backwards. 

You're very good at texture/shading though.

yeah, I've been regretting posting that.  The head sucks and now all I can think about are those stupid galoshes.     Oh well.  The texturing/rendering was mostly the point of the exercise in any case, so I'm glad that's not utterly terrible.  Thanks for the crit and the compliment.

The problem with elf is that his armor looks to the left while arms should be on a torso which is turned to the right.
The head needs to be lower or the neck shouldn't have that "bend" backwards. If you ignore this, it's a pretty cool image.
