I had some time to spare when my girlfriend was visiting, so I made this in a hurry. Might as well post it here.
It's not showing up for me. Maybe upload it somewhere else?

The image has become broken.  This is sad!  Fix it!

I don't really know why it's broken to be honest. None of the images on the site works,
so I assume there's some sort of server trouble for the moment being.

I uploaded it to tumblr a while ago, so here's a down-sized version until the images are back up:

also, something related. I've waited far too long to donate what I've received from the commissions, so I just did that.
feels good.

This is how I always imagined Trade Depots to look.  A simple loading dock for wagons with a counter.

It's made from rough marble.

Magma is apparently not very useful in treating heartburn.

(Don't attempt to answer that.  Down that path lies ... well I was going to say madness but you all run towards madness as if it was made from chocolate and puppies.  Just forget I said anything.)

"You know...I wouldn't usually consider trading all of my goods for soiled and bloody goblin rags, but this depot...Man, this depot." DG seems pleased with the trading.

Reminds me of the image of Sankis (the Emperor) trying to drink magma...

So I was doodling in my sketchbook when a dwarf appeared. And since he is a dwarf, I figured he would be relevant to this thread.

And then I figured, why not make it look a bit better.

A sketch I did in pencil whilst I was on watch, which I touched up in GIMP to add a splash of colour and a bit of shade. It's a more or less accurate view of the throne room in my current fort. Obviously the engravings aren't as bizarre or asymmetrical as the real thing, and you can't place braziers yet (damn it!) but that's what the throne room looks like. The throne is made of solid gold, as are the doors behind it.

Super difficult to upload things; I have only the thinnest sliver of 'net out here at sea.

I like the details with all the engravings.

I agree. That's really neat.

I like that the most distinguishable engraving is a slice of cheese :D

Oh yeah I did another little doodle. Some dwarves using a goblin for target practice from behind the ramparts. A fairly common format for combat.
