Holy cow... just one thing, you still have the original right?  Could you post a PNG rather than a JPG, in high res if you have it?  The JPG compression (check out the mountain) isn't doing it justice.

Yep, I have it in .xcf at 2048*1536. The only problem is that when I export it to .png it weighs 3.31Mb, which is well over imageshack's limit. 1024*768 .png is 1.33Mb so I could upload that if you want it for desktop background or something. I just uploaded it as .jpg because my upload speed is 64k so it takes ages to upload stuff.

Honestly it's not even for my desktop, I just want to see all the hilarious details.  1024 PNG would be great.  You might have better luck with Tinypic which isn't as popup-crazy.

Yeah man, Tinypic is where it's at.  I haven't had any problems since I started using it.

I use photobucket, but I really chose that at random so it's not much advice-y either way, I should probably get an account on deviant art or something sometime perhaps eventually...

Oh crap, I just realized I forgot one very important detail (I sketched it but forgot to colour it): a blind marksdwarf lookout. Without him the walls look a bit empty. Maybe I'll throw him in when I redo the shadows, and add two more details I thought of after I submitted this image. There isn't a rule against submitting the same image twice, right?

I held off trying anything for a long time, since I usually have a lot of trouble drawing humanoids...:/ My specialty tends to be monsters. I guess you could call this a compromise. XD

It's just a sketch because colour takes too long. :/

The creatures are very well detailed. The forest and the fortress are kinda weird looking however. Overall I like it.
