I like them. They got that old-fashioned grotesque-adorable look of something that lives under a bridge in a fairy tale. :)

Very cool! It's always nice to see some really good ink pen drawings.

Here's a pic of an artifact that I found in my fortress:  Noosestrangled the Lucid Meditation-Pillar (which would probably fit better for a warhammer, but whatever).  Nothing really funny or weird, just that kind of generic artifact.

Although I think it's pretty sweet-looking when you put all the spikes and things on it, even if the yellowish-reddish rubicelles have a kind of icky color next to the leather.

And here's the description:

Here's something that I worked on for a while, but that I just grew tired of.
I started it wrong, and ended it wrong. Everything wrong wrong wr-...well
I like the faces. Those were cool to do. Besides that I never want to
touch this painting ever again. Ever.
Also: over 500 pages of this thread. That's amazing!

Immediate edit: Humans and dwarves interacting is something that I find very interesting. Go figure.

It's a pretty sweet painting, and not just for the raw skill behind it, either! I like the merry scene depicted, and how that one dwarf is like either introducing his wife, or requesting that a song be played in her honor. The dwarves themselves seem a bit like the dwarves from the Dragon Age setting, very handsome and proper, unlike the dwarves from Dwarf Fortress, who are all blood and vomit encrusted psychopaths. :)
