Genoraven, I bet you shout at the television whenever there's a movie with 'chainmail' made out of wool painted silver.

Haven't had that problem. But yes, I probably would. I make it so it's stuff that I actively look for.

Never watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail?

Ha, I was going to mention that, but refrained. Good to see that there's a sharp eye out there.

It was just the subtlest visual gag in cinema history. The coconuts were only a distraction.

You know, I'm still not entirely sure what *moving sound* means. Is it like... a stirring round of applause?

It's a reference to something which appeared in the thread ages ago.

It's the sound an object makes when moving.

I think the whole thing started when I posted this comic.

Haven't painted anything digitally in a while so I painted a goblin.

Man, with that pose and that face scar, I thought he had a monocle for a second.  I was all "mmyes, that goblin is quite posh," but then I looked again and shattered my own dreams.

I imagine that DF goblins look like sort of even more feral elves, occasionally with facial hair. I imagine they have small, upturned noses. By contrast, I imagine kobolds might have very large noses. Then again, they might look more like ewoks; I'm not sure.

Goblins are great. Pretty much any picture of goblins is a winner in my book, and when it's a picture as well-made as that, well, awesome!
I can just imagine him leading ambush squads into battle, all the while scheming(like he is now, in the picture!) as to how to kill off his rival squad leaders, leaving him an easy path to rise through gobbo society... :D

Looks a little rough.

I'd tone down the brightness on the blue light to the left, and put some more effort on the rightmost dwarf - he looks like he's floating or tacked-on.

I usually touch up panels and reduce them to 50% original size when I compile pages. I'll take that into account.

just I've been strapped for drawing time as of late.. tacking the rightmost dwarf onto the edge of the image isn't doing him any favours composition-wise either.
