I try not to post Effigies stuff unless it's really close to the dwarf fortress model.

Like.. I make a lot of deviations from the dwarf fortress depictions for other races, but... come on! It's a dwarf. He's in a fortress. The only thing not accurate to the model is that I don't think Dwarves can engrave images of magma burning down forests yet!

oh, and.. I guess Kings can't have strange moods. So the engravings on the throne of him presenting an artifact to the dwarves wouldn't happen in DF.

More magma just leads to more orange in the picture, which is to me because thats my favorite color. So I'd say its a good picture eitherway.

This is really awesome. The cat is a nice touch too. I really like the engravings over the throne. The line pattern makes it look so dwarven. Do you have any special method for constructing patterns like that, or do you just add stuff until it looks good?
