Oh right, it's from Paper Mario.

Well, I suppose I never spawned the Mario roots in my childhood. The only titles I've played is the DS Mario Kart and Brawl.

More on-topic, I feel another strange mood coming on... I may just illustrate a brief history of my latest fort, which has quite a few gory and depressing charming stories

Haha, yes. I wasn't boycotting Mario or anything though, I was just preoccupied with Zelda, Sonic and Pokemon.

I was better off not knowing that pairing existed, Siquo.

Nice. He vaguely reminds me of this guy.

If Vlad were to grow a beard.

I am heavy weapons dwarf and this is my weapon.
She fires 600 dwarfbuck masterwork steel bolts at 100 rounds per minute.
It cost 12,000 dwarfbucks to fire this weapon for 10 seconds.
*cuts to maniacal laughter*
What is this who touched Sascha the Dagger of Gears?
Alright... WHO TOUCHED MY CROSSBOW!
Some people think they can outsmart me.  Maybe.  Maybe..
I have yet to meet one who can outsmart bolt!

You need to make said elf leather into the most amazing work of art.  Embed it with every kind of gem you have, stud it with metals, and sew images into it.  Erect a shrine outside your fort with that in the center.  Let the elves know that you view their very skin as naught more but a medium for your dwarves to work on.

wow, great work on the last few pages! such variety!
Rushmik, you have quite a knack for lineless contour. I like the nonstandard beard design on Poncheman's pic, really sets the character apart. oh and I'm also a sucker for pixel art and sprite edits

She was also sad that her father's corpse was rotting in his bedroom, but that's a minor inconvenience.
I love this game so much.

I love DF goblins. I like the way their no-quality iron armour is emblazoned with the symbol of their civilisation; that they have no ethics to speak of, and don't eat or drink. That's weird. I imagine they are sustained by the emenations of evil that come from deep below the Earth, like cave plants are.

I had a strange mood of my own today and produced this picture of my resident mechanic, responsible for the heaps of shredded goblin, troll and rabbit flesh outside my fort's gate.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Don't look too closely at his fingers or feet.

And Fault, your superiorly crafted drawings just claimed an hour of my life. You should livestream or record the process some time, I'd love to see the technique you use in action.
If you don't mind me asking, how did you make that?
