Looks like some sort bizarre cross between Pitfall and DF. In f-

---WAI---

DWARF FORTRESS PITFALL MOD.

Sieges of logs mounted on scorpions?

Wouldn't that be a Dwarf Fortress Frogger mod?

You realize Frogger consisted of a frog attempting to cross a highway with best traffic/gridlock ratio ever, right? Nothing to do with scorpions, logs only on flat beds.

I thought that there were boards where the frog crossed a desert road next to a river, with scorpions.  Been, err, a few years since I played it.  Plenty of logs though :)

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

That's creepy. It reminds me of the art produced by two autistic people I'm aware of. It strikes me as something that might be appreciated by a synesthetic.

Dwarf Fortress - where the primary reason to prevent death of your citizens is that it makes them more annoying then they were in life.

I can't help but think that those two windows in the lower left part of the image are the same ones from this picture, as viewed from the outside. Is this based on an actual fortress?

Think of it like Sim City, except with rival mayors that seek to destroy your citizens by arming legions of homeless people and sending them to attack you.

It's a comic... so while not actually from the game DF, yes it's a consistent fortress.

This is how I picture a cover art of Dwarf Fortress if it ever needed it.
I'm sorry to be the bringer of bad news, but the past has outdone you.

Imagine a cool peice of sky-blue and milk-white marble about 3cm by 2cm and by 0.5cm, containing a tiny 2mm malacolite crystal. Now imagine the miles of metamorphic rock it's embedded in that no pick or chisel will ever touch. Then, imagine that those miles will melt back into their mantle long before any telescope even refracts an image of their planet. The watchers will be so excited to have that image too.

I got bored while being away from my Wacom tablet, so I pulled out a box of coloured pencils and scribbled two DF-related pictures as an exercise in shading.

Behold the Thikthogdurad Mishos Meb,"Drenchedbearded the Beaches of Inching", a perfect turquoise! This is a perfect turquoise. All craftdwarfship is of the highest quality. On the item is an image of marvelous Elf King Cacame Awemedinade in turquoise.

drawing more fortress interiors

this time going with a more detailed scene... a cluttered foundry, rather than a nondescript stairway
