You may want to use Photoshop or Paint.NET for collages like these, they produce results of higher quality and are easy to work with.

Maybe it was. I remember posting two similar pictures, but you are probably right.

And yeah, it ended up being a bit of copy paste. Used GIMP for it though.

Haha, I noticed that while I was drawing it, and I hoped nobody else would. 
Officially, it's behind his notepad/paper/whatever.  He's holding a pen against the paper so he can start writing down the new trade agreement as soon as the mayor starts talking.  I couldn't quite figure out how to make that, though.
Alternatively, he lost that arm last time he came to the fortress.

The perspective on the "veranda" looks a bit odd, though, or is that me?

Yeah, through gaps in the fence you can see that the horizon line is below the veranda, so the top shouldn't be seen. But the house is worse, because it points at a horizon line where there isn't one.

Yeah, the perspective is bad, but mostly because I used 1 point where I should have used two, and that's causing distortion.  The horizon is actually pretty consistent; I just painted the light through the fence (way) too low.  Oops



I mostly just did it to practice trees.  Probably shouldn't have shown it off.
