Seconded.

I'd like to see what you put in "system requirements".  :D

I think it's a vastly amusing thought that elephants are so afraid of heights that when Dwarves invented the Z-axis, they couldn't bear to face dwarves in combat anymore.

For an end semester project we had to make an ad for a 'non-existent' product and write a report on it.
Too low res. I could not read blurbs on ad. :(

alright alright, alright, high res.  Photobucket was resizing my uploads.

Could probably use some more clever text on the back-of-box descriptions, Got too engrossed in putting the perfect shadow filters  and font colors on the text instead!

Although it doesn't seem like Bink Video should be listed...
and B.L.U. and the Imperium of Man affiliations should?  :P

What was the report focused on?
Essentially we had to reason out every decision made in the advertisement.  Like, positioning, color, content, format, audience, message, etc.

What are the chances it will get your professor to play Dwarf Fortress

No idea- The day I turned it in was the last day I saw him.  He's a major Warhammer 40k / PC gamer guy though and mentioned he had 'heard about that game' so its always possible. (I mean, c'mon. Who can resist a game with that boxart?)

Did you do the front cover art? If not, where did you find it?

Nah I didn't have the commitment (nor skill) to do a full on original cover, heh.
Most of the stuff was compiled from google images so i can't give you specific artist references

If you're looking for the dwarf:

Also, I apparently missed this
Here's a quick sketch (and a quick shading) of how could, hypothetically, a marksdwarf really look like.

Freakin awesome! I miss my heavy-bolter auto-crossbows  :(

Wonderful box art! Also, I love the fact that a game under 10 megabytes would be shipped as a DVD :D

Also, we'll sell the "Expansion Pack", really it will be couple other disks holding 1 or 2 mods on it.
