I'm not seeing how the sideburns are braided. I'm only seeing pigtails.

The hair on her left cheek (viewer's right) goes into the braids, and so does the hair on the right cheek, although the braid covers up most of that.

Oh wow so I drew another goblin.  I think they're only like 85% of my submissions here. 

This one started as a pencil sketch, which is inconceivable.

Great! Another masterpiece from our beloved Balathustrius .

You clearly improved your style. The only issue on the goblin you posted (the latest one) is the chainmail. It looks flat. You was probably just a bit lazy about it, so it's okay. It looks like a flat texture, not a 3d object. Other pieces of the goblin are really great, and I really like the amount of details and the face.

I think you can now be qualified as a book cover artist.

BodyGripper: Thank you, I laughed. And engravings which repeat and have no sense are a perfect thing too . Cool.

Thanks a ton, guys.  Yeah, I just used a custom brush for the chainmail, and I haven't gone back and given it any shadows or highlights or anything yet.  I'm going to color this one, so I'll still get to it.

The main problem with the chainmail is that it's not warped around the body. Now the more I look at it, the more I see that it's flat. I really hope you fix it, the picture is great otherwise so I want to see the final result .

Yeah, I just painted it on flat.  I think some shadows would help it look less flat, but some of it may require repainting.  Oh well.  Chainmail is one of those things of which there is just no easy way to draw.

If it's on a separate layer, just a simple warp tool should do the job. You know better though .
