I wonder what would happen if Deon drew a titmouse...

Anyways, nice picture. I almost feel like petting it.

Don't give deon ideas... Again  :P

I really want that one as a "when". I want "grubs", and "virgin woman" to turn into a dragon. and monkey children to suddenly sprout wings. And I want the Dwarven Mutant Academy to only gain their powers upon reaching puberty. I also have a whole host of odd creatures that only make sense if I divide them into children and adults.

Also, tadpoles.

Alas, Deonideas was hit by something thrown by something, and vanished. He mumbled something about pressing ESC as he vanished, though. the historians have been trying to decipher what he meant for years.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

I'd like a rendition of my adventurer Tobul please, she's been with me for a long time. She died pretty suddenly from a fall and her legends entry says she had just short of three 3000 kills, so make it appropriately epic.

I think it was a crossbow bolt. She managed to win the stop bleeding lottery.
She was decked out in steel afterward so that wouldn't happen again. All of her kills were with a bronze greataxe with a picture of longland grass on it if you're a stickler for detail.

EDIT:Just noticed something

Admittedly, it's a higher kill count, but there's a difference.
Your adventurer? You controlled them.
Tholtig Cryptbrain the Waning Diamonds? She killed those two thousand, nine hundred, and sixty-five beings by herself with no player intervention. She didn't have the ability to pinch people's skulls off or throw caterpillars with lethal force. And she almost matched you in kills.

I'm curious what the barely conscious ai wrote about.
Well that went better than expected.  He went nuts and punched a rabbit to death, then the dogs and the whole dining hall ripped him to shreds.

You've got it backwards. I killed two thousand nine hundred -bah.
I just remembered reading somewhere that Tholtig had the highest kill count of any dwarf in any mode. Tobul was a dwarf and I fugured I pulled off something.
They were all axe murders, I've never really been into the whole exploitation thing (and I think wrestling is boring), there might have been a few falling deaths here or there but in the end it was all Tobul and the axe.

It's not really about who's better or anything, it's just that Tholtig Cryptbrain's feats seems more....what's the word storywise...."poetic"? "romantic"? "heroic"? "epic"? whatever....

That legendary dwarf got all her kills defending her home and honor from elves, a big plus in itself, and a cyclops(?) without human intervention. A "natural" occurance in that world...unguided by the great Toad (yet blessed by the RNG gods?)

Don't get us wrong...kudos to you & your powerful homicidal dwarf for killing thousands of sentient & some probably rare one of a kind creatures. Oh, Did she ever name her axe? or is that a fortress mode only thing?

Oh and in honor of the thread:

[EDIT] Added a new link....imagehost is a meanie :P

I deeply agree with your sentiments.

I believe that the naming of axes is indeed fortress mode only.

The kobold troubadour is quite cute <3, and the image works for me...perhaps it was fixed in between DreaDFanG's post and mine?
