I love him too much. Couldn't resist doing this when I got up this morning...
Crowns indeed didin't seem to fit the dude... so instead I put his crown on his personal heraldry!

I decided to go ahead and post what I've got done.

I think it's pretty good! Let me know what I'm doing wrong, though.
I haven't really done people/faces before, but I'm very happy with it.

Also, I'm not using any sources or anything, so my proportions might be off.
But I think they're close enough. Especially since he's a dwarf rather than a human.

After that, we need a human of eual awesome and personality to arise form the anals of history. and a kobold. Then we make them a superhero team.

I think the goblin kings crown shuld be on a stick BOLTED TO HIS SKULL, and look sort of like a anti-halo.

 I dunno, while the Goblin King does look badass he has not done anything sufficiently badass to be rank among the other guys. Quick, somebody look through some legends for a goblin king!

His name in Effigies is going to be "Rook" (like the chess piece). I chose it because it has an air of royalty (rooks being castles and all) while still sounding blunt and violent.

But it's not really a dwarf fortress-sounding name...
