I wanted to comment on that too, but I also didn't want to seem like a Grammar Nazi. It seems many people thought likewise and in their inability to come up with a fitting reply, they brought this thread to a halt. Until someone manned-up and made a tension relieving comment, that is.

I am in love with simple yet smooth and beautiful pictures. Like a clipart, but with more details. Like what you've made.

  Thanks Ungelateman, I really want to get better at illustrating, I tried for an hour today to draw an acceptable pic of a dwarf escaping from a  flooded tunnel to illustrate the end of this: http://lodestones.wordpress.com/2010/04/29/the-sacrifice/

But in the end it looked like a marshmallow with a wet beard trapped in a cofeecup, I deleted it.

  I really like the simple, yet badass quality of your dwarves, what program do you use? I'm still struggling to find an acceptable, quick medium to illustrate my blog with, so far its just copy paste from screenshots.

Plump Helmet Men are totally Myconids; they spend their entire lives chilling in Mushroom gardens, zonked out on hallucinogens and spores.

^that elf was drawn by some random dude. Looks like he's enjoying himself right?^

I really like the palette used in the top image. It reminds me of something I can't quite seem to recall.

Around these parts, we call that "the outdoors."

BAH! The "out doors" are simply a myth perpetuated by those who are discontent.

If the out doors are a myth... then where do humans and elves come from?

What site is it? Why didn't I know about it? It looks cool. Do you know who wrote those stories?

  Hehe, well you didn't know about it because I just started it last week, I wrote the stories, I'll try to keep it updated twice a week. I'm looking for constructive criticism and am more than open to collaboration. I just started playing DF a few weeks ago, so I'm brand new to the forums.
  Nothing too dramatic has happened so far, but today it got interesting; the apostate dwarf kubuk was just sent in to battle a dwarf who went insane, I found this line of the battle report particularly hillarious;
  " The Apostate strikes the peon in the upper body with her (horse leather left mitten) but the attack is deflected by the Peon's (pig tail fiber cloak)"
  I'm absolutely loving the DF combat system! it makes for some hilarious stories. 8)
