Sorry, just couldn't let it slide.

Anyway, cool drawings everyone! Keep 'em coming.
Maybe I'll even be inspired to draw some ugly crap myself. (Though that's unlikely.)

But what do I know?
Everything I say should be taken with atleast 1 tsp. of salt, and another liter of Dwarven Wine is recommended.

"I thought it was the size of the others!" said Vanon. "I guess it was just standing further away!"

Well, how about

?

Not quite dwarfy, but fits somewhat into DF, and I already drew it. (And I don't think I can actually draw anything else :S)
(I drew it with a pencil, traced it with a pen, scanned it with a scanner (at 2304982039482x23809428390428304 resolution. Approximately.) then threw it at Inkscape to trace it with lots and lots of smoothing. (Where the lines are a bit strange [like suddenly thin] is Inkscape's fault, but it's still prettier this way.)

EDIT: Oops, didn't realize that Inkscape exported .pngs with transparency. Good thing this post doesn't have a black background.

That's great! Now I'm waiting to see one where a wild turkey strangles a dwarf adventurer with its wing, like Dwarmin described in the Gruesome Deaths thread.

Now I want that Toady finish the graphic support for DF. Badly. And I always play with the ASCII tiles.

:(

JoRo, adding a background to your butcher masterpiece would make a fantastic desktop! You win the gold metal of the thread.

Maybe you should try moving the crossbow from being held in his shoulder to being held in his hand(s)?

And then it dawned on the player....  This fortress is doomed, and was soon abandoned never to be seen again.

valcon, your sketches are wonderful! Every bit of the personality and life and quirkiness of DF demands to be rendered in fun cartoon forms. You might be on to something here.
