Let's liven it up a bit, shall we?

Awesome. Eyeballs in the bottom left, or am I reading too much into it?

I return with a request/challenge/thing/whatever.

I wish to see Honhal Cagecackle, my adventurer from a race I modded in, basically a Viking/Nord dude, drawn.

The description:
He has incredible muscles stretched over a broad body.
His very long sideburns are braided.
His very long moustache is neatly combed.
His very long beard is braided.
His medium length hair is neatly combed.
His lips are very thick.
His nose bridge is convex.
His short upturned nose is extremely narrow.
His small-lobed ears are short.
His aqua eyes are slightly wide-set.
His head is somewhat short.
His hair is flax.
His skin is peach.

I wouldn't want to meet this Honhal character in dark alley, that's for sure.

Given the choice, I would prefer to meet him in a dark alley wearing clothes. Neither option is appealing, however.

Nice!

You know, now that I have a good look at all of his traits, he looks a little like a Goron from Zelda with a beard.

Just a little.

But we should get back on topic, my good sirs!

Here are some juniorgeneral style Goblin armies I did a while back. Also a group of kobolds. I actually did this for a nationstates thing that died before it begun, but DF definitively inspired me.

My second turn's unnoficial goal was to turn everyone into vampires, and it backfired so bad, I ended up making the fort a more efficient, safer and friendlier place.

Time to revive the thread.

Thunenlolok gold coin of the year 273. On the front is a finely-designed image of a pig leather artifact, and on the rear a well-designed image of a dwarf.

Minting one stack of gold coins every year (spring) is fun, since the design changes each year.

(How can you tell the imaged artifact is made from pig leather just by looking at the coin?)

Fire detailing in the background depicts the leathermaking process, perhaps. The  craftsmanship of the dwarves is unparalleled, especially when it comes to making currency that is useless for buying things.

Do different metals yield different images, or am I misremembering? The wiki says they do.

In general I'd assume the artifact is just famous enough that people know what it is?
