There is nothing between the spoiler tags, sorry.

Blackbronze quoted daemoria's massive image the style of which you enjoyed. To prevent clogging up the thread with repeats of massive images, increasing loading times and the difficulty of actually finding anything, as a guideline, spoilers when quoting an image are useful.

It doesn't really matter that much though.

Oh yes, sorry. I'm dumb. I thought YOU were trying to say something in between the spoiler tags, and that you failed to do it.

Sorry.

Good God, what do you people use to draw these Masterpieces?!? I mean, people say I'm good at drawing, but that's partially because most of my friends stay with stick-figures!! Teach me your ways!

Thank you kindly, fellow forum member.
I use photoshop to paint these, with a set of brushes I've cobbled together over the years. If your demand for tutoring wasn't in jest then you can just send me a pm and I can give you a few pointers, mate. Ain't no thang.

Probably the quickest comic I've done in years.  I'm not proud of it.

I really like the painterly landscape ".........", that's exactly the reason why this game fascinates me. The ability to craft these types of scenes in our minds from just a field of ASCII.

@Kestrel- Awesome! Saw this on deviantart, and it inspired me to crack open my copy of dwarf fortress again, and see I could make my poor dwarves do before their inevitable deaths.

@Tofu- Well, damn... That looks like some production art for a AAA Dwarf Fortress game or movie. Keep that stuff up!

I'll try not to post massive images in the future. Sorry to the people out there with squirrel powered internets. v__v

A couple of years ago I made a DF alphabet book, and I recently revisited it and turned it into a video

Nice. I love fortress visualizations like that. I used to draw stuff like that all the time as a kid.
