You know, I've never understood the absolute hatred for the elves...until this version.
I'll have you know, that no, none of my gold crafts, or my bonecrafts, or my stonecrafts are made of wood.

Anyways, I always tend to make my forts through these deep rivers that dwarf fortress generates sometimes. Easy access to a vertical wall with a moat-- what more could you possibly want?

Also the hatred for DF Elves were mostly because cannibals-post-battle for the victor. Everything else is more biased because modern hate or hippies or whatever. :v

Really? I always figured it was because they'd bring lots of cloth and little else, and then get all snooty because you tried to trade them some item that happened to be decorated with wood or bone.

In any case, I've always liked them for bringing me exotic animals.

As always, that's an awesome picture, Tofu! I haven't done one of those forts in a while. I should do that again.

Dots, I'm getting a strong feeling of a failed mood dwarf finding a lever here.  The lack of any background is a bit confusing though.  I know you experiment with some things that might not display the same on everyone's machine.  Is the background supposed to be featureless beige/brown with a couple blood-looking spots?

The artwork relates to the destruction of the Dwarf Fortress Inkychannels by mass insanity in the year 294.
