I wish more people would illustrate some of the beasties in DF. I've illustrated a couple, paying careful attention to not only the descriptor in the raw, but the colours in the creature description when they appear on the map. I've not had any positive feedback from my efforts, which is a shame, as I'd like to see some top quality illustrations popping up on the df.magmawiki and I'd be happy to add a few of my own if I thought they'd be appreciated.

Hey there fellow baywatchers.

Last time I posted was like... post 270 or something like that I think. Anyway, I backtracked a bit and... wow some of the things I'm seeing are pretty badass. I'm especially liking how Fault's art evolved and that black-n-white high-contrast-no-perspective thing from ".........."



ANYWAY been playing lots lately, and I can't wait the new update! I'm also preparing a medieval RPG session for my friends using the SilCORE system, and overall am really in a dorfy mood. So I started some drawin'. Been a while since I did any for the fun of it. Here's the WIP so far. Inspired by my ex-expedition-leader-woman and her hunter-legendary-crossbowman-militarycommander-husband.

Also, "bring-your-daughterbaby-to-war day" is very dorfy.
