That's... an odd reaction to laughter. Especially from a ninja.

That said, can't help but notice the demon loitering up there... Never a good sign. :o

I'm curious what the barely conscious ai wrote about.
Well that went better than expected.  He went nuts and punched a rabbit to death, then the dogs and the whole dining hall ripped him to shreds.

I call it The Course of Dwarf Fortress: Part Four: Destruction.

Haha, I really like it!  I'd like to see more like this.

Looks like that elf port at the end of the Lord of the Rings.

Somewhat DF-related, but I may have found the cuter, less horrifying version of one of the forgotten beast that killed a fortress of mine. Note that it is not made of vomit... though I am unsure as to the putrefying secretions.

Gentlemen, I present the caterthulhu:

Associated with depravity, madness, and cheese.

More fun DF-like beasties can be found in this thread I just stumbled upon looking for creature references. I hit the mother-load.

This starts at the second page for the before stated reason. May be NSFW due to creepy crawlies and horrors of biology.

DF sets out a challenge to us with no explanation and no assistance, and each time we fail it becomes more merciless, but we continue in the hopes that we can show it, "See?  I'm doing good, right?  I kept the little men alive!  You're proud of me, right?"

Holy crap, dude.  Page 1 didn't bother me half as much as all the horrifying bugs and...things...on page 2.  I'm gonna have freakin' nightmares now.

Note to self:  Do not click on links from DF threads.

I found the four-legged duckling and the six-legged kitten adorable. Most of the other bugs and fish I found to be good inspirations for future megabeasts. Now if I could only have a tag [CAUSES_MADNESS]...

Just something I whipped up pretty quick. Atera Soulsiege, my elven adventurer.

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

The elves called it "going insane". The dwarves called it "going dwarf".

Neat. I think the white cotton below-the-knee socks might be slightly anachronistic, though  ;)
